10 villages submerged in water due to 40-feet wide breach in Korai Canal

ISLAMABAD: More than 10 villages were submerged in water due to forty feet wide breach in Korai Canal in Punnu Aqil on Saturday. Gushing water has engulfed the national highway and destroyed standing crops over hundreds of acres. Army has reached the scene and efforts were underway to plug the breach.
